The City of Peoria is seeking an experienced water facility contractor to provide pre-construction and construction services for the Jomax Booster Station Upgrades and the Terramar Booster Pump Station Rehabilitation. Both facilities share a site located at the southwest corner of Jomax Road and Terramar Blvd. Questions Due Date: Jul 30th 2020, 12:00 PM MST The City of Peoria Capital Improvement Program has approved funding for construction of the project. Staff expects to complete the design effort by late Fall 2020 and construction improvements by the end of year 2021. Proposals should include a project schedule that meets this timeline. The City of Peoria (City) is seeking an experienced water facility contractor (Contractor) to provide preconstruction and construction services for equipment and infrastructure upgrades at the existing Jomax Inline Booster Pump Station (BPS). These upgrades are to accommodate Peoria's additional capacity from the Pyramid Peak Water Treatment Plant (PPWTP) expansion. The City owns 11 million gallons per day (MGD) of capacity in the jointly owned PPWTP, and the expansion will increase the City's ownership to 24 MGD in 2021. In order to fully utilize the additional capacity, the City needs to upgrade various facilities to deliver the full 24 MGD.
