Sealed bids will be received by the City of Colfax for Colfax City Hall Remodel. The bids are for a single Prime Contract (civil, g eneral, mechanical and electrical combined) for a one-story 7500 square foot renovation. The renova tion consists of concrete slabs on grade repair, built up metal framed floors, wood truss re pairs, minor roofing investigation and repair, masonry repair, fire suppression systems and alarms , new mechanical system using new condenser units, plumbing system and fixtures, new electrical system and lighting fixtures, and technology components. The renovation of the existi ng space consists of minor interior demolition, new interior stud walls, new doors and frames, new casework, interior finishes. Site work consists of minor demolition of existing site components, new pavers, utilities replacement, stormwater management, minor grading a nd seeding. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Owner. The security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond is required for this project, and must be submitted at the time of bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum.
