Site work for a water / sewer project in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of September 9, 2020 this project has been awarded to Twin L. Construction, Inc., in the amount of $499,227.88 The project consists of construction of: concrete drainage inlets and pipes, removing excess vegetation from drainage ditch, reshaping existing drainage ditch, and all related appurtenances shown on the Bid Form. Sealed Bid Envelopes Shall Be Marked "sealed Bid for Jackson County - Center St to North St Drainage Improvements Project to Be Opened" and if Any Envelope is Not So Marked, Any Bid Contained Therein Will Not Be Considered. When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in "pdf' format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. All bid envelopes should contain the bidder's name and mailing address on the face of the envelope. The bid shall also contain the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility number or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) on the outside of the envelope, failing which, said bid shall not be opened or considered. The total Contract Time will be 70 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $1,000.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises/woman business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The plans and specifications will also be made available at the office of Waggoner Engineering, Inc. located at 2510 14* St, Suite 1200, Gulfport, MS 39501. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Engineer’s Estimate: $275,000 – $400,000
