The project primarily consists of the construction of a triplex submersible pump station, a triplex in-line pressure reducing pump station, approximately 900 linear feet of 24" diameter HDPE force main installed via directional drill, approximately 825 linear feet of 24" HDPE installed via open-cut, approximately 1,360 linear feet of 8" HDPE force main installed via slip-lining, approximately 1,350 linear feet of PVC gravity sewer (18" and 21" in diameter); furnishing and installing new electrical and controls; sediment and erosion control; and all incidentals and appurtenances. The Jackson County Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, informalities or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or to choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Jackson County Utility Authority Minority and Women Business Enterprises Are Solicited to Bid on This Contract as Prime Contractors and Are Encouraged to Make Inquiries Regarding Potential Subcontracting Opportunities and Equipment, Material and/or Supply Needs. Any Contract or Contracts Awarded Under This Invitation for Bids Are Expected to Be Funded in Whole or in Part by Anticipated Funds From the Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (Wpcrlf) Loan Program From the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Commission on Environmental Quality Nor Any of Their Employees Is or Will Be a Party to This Invitation for Bids or Any Resulting or Related Contracts. This Procurement Will Be Subject to All Applicable Sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated.
