**As of September 9, 2020 this project has been awarded to Twin L. Construction, Inc., in the amount of $499,227.88 The project consists of construction of: concrete drainage inlets and pipes, removing excess vegetation from drainage ditch, reshaping existing drainage ditch, and all related appurtenances shown on the Bid Form. Sealed Bid Envelopes Shall Be Marked "sealed Bid for Jackson County - Center St to North St Drainage Improvements Project to Be Opened" and if Any Envelope is Not So Marked, Any Bid Contained Therein Will Not Be Considered. When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in "pdf' format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. All bid envelopes should contain the bidder's name and mailing address on the face of the envelope. The bid shall also contain the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility number or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) on the outside of the envelope, failing which, said bid shall not be opened or considered. The total Contract Time will be 70 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $1,000.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
