Project scope - Related works for the construction of 3 buildings A, B, C and renovations to the Common area in building D. Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Vernon is expanding the grounds of their facility, "Albert Place" located at 3610 25th Avenue, Vernon. The large site, which straddles 25th and 24th Avenue currently has an 18 unit apartment building with +/- 840 sq ft of Common Area space. New construction comprises of (3) doublestacked row housing buildings A,B,C designed around a courtyard that links to the existing Albert Place building (also referred to as Building D). The concept of this development is to foster community engagement by creating moments for children and families to engage with the elderly or other tenants of the facility. The row housing design proposed intentionally removes patios and exterior stairs of the units so that less additional maintenance from CMHA would be required. The Canadian Mental Health Association Vernon and District Branch (Owner) has engaged a Construction Manager, KATAWA Construction Ltd, to coordinate and manage the construction of the Albert Place Expansion, Vernon, BC.
