Construction of improvements to Chouteau Parkway at the I-35 interchange by adding turn lanes to Chouteau between the north side of I-35 to the southern edge of the Cleveland Avenue intersection. The project will add a 10' wide sidepath on the east side of Chouteau starting where the existing sidepath terminates at Cleveland and connect to the recently constructed sidepath which terminates on the north side of I-35. Improvements will include asphalt pavement, concrete median, highway signage, concrete trail, concrete sidewalk, erosion control, storm drainage, grading, rock base, and appurtenances. All Bids will be opened and read aloud. The Bid Envelope must contain all required submissions to be included with the Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the Bid is opened. Bid security shall likewise continue for the same ninety (90) days unless earlier released by the City. The successful Bidder shall comply with all Bidding and contract requirements. Bids, once opened and read, may not be withdrawn without forfeiture of the Bid security. All Bids shall be addressed to Director, Parks and Recreation_, shall state on the outside of the sealed Bidenvelope Bid Enclosed, title and Project number, and shall be deposited in the locked Bid box.
