Saving Project...

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 26,838-square-foot fire / police facility.

Project consists of the selective demolition and renovation of the existing Pleasant Hill Police and Fire Department facility. Project also consists of HVAC upgrades throughout the Library and the renovation of the existing Library Community Room. The Library plans to maintain occupancy and operations throughout the project. The Fire Department intends to occupy only a small portion of the Apparatus Bay throughout construction. The area that is being occupied has been provided in the plans. Access to complete work in this area will be provided. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to three business days prior to conference. Last date for submittal of questions is August 3, 2020. Any questions received after that date will not be reviewed. Successful bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
