Per the owner, as of September 15, 2022, this project has not started design and a timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Public Works Department of the City of Santa Clara is seeking proposals from qualified consultant firms to perform the first phase of improving the Lafayette St. Underpass and Subway Storm Drain Pump Station (PROJECT). The first phase consists of assessment of: 1) the constant ponding of groundwater at the Lafayette St. underpass located at the Subway Storm Drain Pump Station (SDPS) and the UPRR overcrossing; and 2) the current deficiencies of the SWPS. Detail discussions and background information are in Attachment A, Scope of Services. Based on the results of the evaluations, consultant shall prepare two Basis of Design Reports (BOD Reports) for the City's consideration. The BOD Reports shall present assessment of the Lafayette St. undercrossing and condition of the SWPS and provides recommended improvements to address the constant ponding and the existing station deficiencies. The BOD Reports will be used as the basis for funding requests for the next phases of the PROJECT, which include detail design and construction.
