Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Hagerman, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,500-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include a 3,500 sf Visitor Center at Thousand Springs State Park with associated access road, parking lots and septic system and native landscaping in selected areas. The design is simple and functional, using locally produced materials such as cedar siding to blend in with the surroundings and climate. Weathered steel canopies and covered patios will provide protection for indoor and outdoor experiences. Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPS) will be used for the exterior walls to reduce the construction time and costs for labor, while providing a superior thermal envelope to reduce energy consumption. The interior spaces will be shared by Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) and National Park Service (NPS) staff with offices, interpretive center, and restrooms. The structure will allow visitors to obtain information regarding the various units of Thousand Springs State Park as well as surrounding recreational opportunities. The structure will also co-house the Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument Visitor Center allowing for outreach and interpretive contact with NPS employees One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and electrical subcontractors at cost, non-refundable. A PDF of the documents will be posted online and available for download. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
