In April 2014, the voters of the City of Miami Gardens approved a General Obligation Bond issue in the amount of $60,000,000 for the construction of improvements to and at multiple City parks and related facilities along with new or remodeled buildings. The City Council subsequently approved a Bond Implementation Plan that more clearly lists and details the proposed improvements at each park facility or government property. Included in the City of Miami Gardens Bond Implementation Plan is the further development of Rolling Oaks Park. The City will implement this contract in two distinct phases. Phase I includes preconstruction services. Phase II includes construction services with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Based upon the GMP proposal given under Phase I, the City may or may not proceed with Phase II. If the GMP is not acceptable to the City, the City reserves the right to discontinue Phase II with that Firm without recourse or liability. Provide Performance and Payment Bonds for the full value of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the project. The selected CMAR firm or team will be required to submit Performance and Payment bonds equal to 100% of the project value.
