Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Miami Gardens, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The overall building area is contemplated to have approximately 50,000 square feet of assignable net area that includes a Black Box Theater with approximately 5,000 - 6,000 square feet in area, a Youth Center with approximately 5,000 - 6,000 square feet in area, a STEM facility with approximately 10,000 to 11,000 square feet in area and a Culinary Arts Institute with 7,000 - 8,000 square feet in area. The areas will include entry/lobby/exhibition spaces, restrooms, utility needs, offices, conference room(s), meeting spaces and related building functions. In addition, there will be a variety of outdoor learning and gathering areas to provide for a robust educational experience. Drawings are in the Programming and Design Submittal Phase as per attached Appendix A. The City will implement this contract in two distinct phases. Phase I includes preconstruction services. Phase II includes construction services with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Based upon the GMP proposal given under Phase I, the City may or may not proceed with Phase II.
