Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lexington, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work consists of construction of approximately 1,800 feet of asphalt or concrete multi-use path. All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked --- PATRIOT PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 3 - MULTI-USE PATH --- and addressed to Andy Smallstey, Administrative Director at the Village of Lexington, 44 West Main Street, Lexington, Ohio 44904. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Lexington, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Richland County, Ohio. The Village of Lexington, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. This project is being funded by the State of Ohio NatureWorks program and all relevant state requirements apply.
