Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ashland, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; for the construction of a 70,739-square-foot military facility; for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of 10/14/2020 was already awarded, Project will be completed within 2 years. This is a MILCON project that includes all labor, equipment, tools, materials, travel, and licenses to construct seven (7) new buildings as well as major upgrades to site utilities on the Camp Ashland Training Site. The project also includes the demolition of approximately 17 existing buildings. The buildings authorized for new construction total approximately 70,739 square feet. The new buildings will be built on a structural system of concrete piers or columns that raise the main floor level elevation safely out of the flood plain. The buildings are generally construction of light gauge metal framing bearing walls and light gauge metal trusses. Enhancements to the site including new roads, parking for POV's and pedestrian sidewalks along with enhancements to site signage, landscaping and providing outdoor physical fitness recreation areas. Project to be substantially complete not later than 720 days from the Notice to Proceed Letter. Estimate = $10,000,000-25,000,000 Addendum #1 has been posted. Addendum #2 has been issued.
