Insurance Required: Yes Bid Bond: Yes Seminole County seeks a qualified general contractor to completely renovate both men's and women's public restrooms located at North West Branch Library 580 Green Way Blvd. Lake Mary, FL 32746. Contractors should expect to completely demo the interior components of each restroom. Remove and replace light fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc. Remove and replace plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets, urinals, etc. HVAC will be limited to fresh air and exhaust vent grill replacements. In addition, contractors will need to ensure the exhaust fans/motors are working properly and have a test and balance performed and submitted to Permitting Dept. for final inspection process. Drywall, framing members, and ceiling will be replaced on an as needed basis per renovation work to be performed or if conditions of material warrant total replacement. All other work should conform to architectural drawings and technical specifications. Finish material selections such as tile brand and color, paint brand and color, stall partitions, etc. are provided in this solicitation. The Engineer's estimate for the project is $96,680.00 The COVID-19 pandemic, along with the Seminole County's efforts to minimize impacts, has created unique challenges for the County's Purchasing and Contracts Division, including potential disruptions in procurement standard procedures.
