Site work for a water / sewer project in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of stabilizing severely eroded channel of Crosby Run Creek between Franklin Street and Washington Street. Construction activities will include clearing of trees and obstructions, earthwork and grading, installation of rock, seeding, and erosion control blanket placement. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form, and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashiers check payable to the Valparaiso City Utilities or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. The Valparaiso City Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
