The City of Duncanville Department of Public Works is instituting a prequalification process for the Danieldale Pump Station Rehabilitation Project. The following documents are enclosed. Bidders must submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum price bid with its bid. The bid bond must either be in the form of a bond issued by a reliable Surety Company satisfactory to the City, or, a Cashiers or Certified Check of a bank satisfactory to the City, payable to or endorsed, without recourse to the City of Duncanville, Texas. The sequence of work is to be submitted by the contractor within 7 days of the Preconstruction Meeting. Allow the City seven days to review and approve. The sequence of work must specifically address managing the maximum 152 calendar days of complete pump station shut down beginning on October 19, 2020 and ending on or before March 19, 2021. Final completion of the South GST rehabilitation must be done by June 18, 2021. August 27, 2021 is the completion deadline for this project The entire project must be completed and invoiced 320 calendar days from the day of the issuing the notice to proceed on the awarded contract. Completion milestones are expected to be at 152 and at 250 calendar days for the North GST and South GST, Upon completion of the project and acceptance by the City of Duncanville, the Contractor shall also provide a two (2) year maintenance bond in the amount of 100%. The City reserves the right to accept or reject in whole, or in part, any or all bids received and to make an award on the basis of individual item, combination of items, or overall bid, as it is deemed in the best interest of the City.
