Janitorial Services for Duncanville Fieldhouse The City of Duncanville is accepting Competitive Sealed Bids (Best Value) from qualified and experienced janitorial contractors to provide porter and janitorial services for the City of Duncanville Fieldhouse. A sign-in sheet will be circulated at the start of the meeting. No late sign- ins will be accepted. This is a mandatory pre-bid meeting if you wish to submit a bid. Bids from Contractors that do not attend the mandatory site visit will be deemed non-responsive. The term of the bid shall be for a period of two (2) years from when successful contractor is expected to be available to provide service after the date of City Council award. Renewal shall be based on an evaluation by the Park and Recreation Department (hereinafter referred to as "the Department") of the contractor's performance during the previous period, budget requirements, etc. A bid guarantee equal to 5% of the total amount bid on this agreement shall accompany each bid. The bid guarantee may be in the form of a surety bond, cashier's check, or certified check. Such bond or deposit shall be forfeited to the City in case the bidder shall fail or refuse to execute the contract. Facsimiles of bid guaranties are unacceptable and are cause for rejection of the bid. A copy of the bid bond shall be uploaded to Public Purchase when bidding electronically. A payment Bond shall be executed in the full amount of the agreement solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials in the prosecution of the work within 10 calendar days of notice of bid award A performance Bond shall be executed in the full amount of the agreement solely for the faithful performance of the contract within 10 calendar days of notice of bid award. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive all minor technicalities, and to accept the bid or bid determined to be the most advantageous to the City. Additionally, the City may accept a bid subject to an exception if, in the sole judgment of the City, the bid meets or exceeds the City's specifications.
