**As of October 2, 2020 this project has been awarded to Walter C. Via Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $3,762,103.90. As per ADDM 3, The apparent low bidder shall provide the complete Bidder Qualification Statement (EJCDC C-451) by 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Sealed Bids for the construction of the Eastern Middlesex County Regional Water System - Phase 2 The Project consists of installation of a new regional water system for the eastern Middlesex County. The scope of work includes a distribution system mainly along General Puller Highway, Greys Point Road and serving the Middlesex County Elementary and Middle Schools and Greys Point Campground. The distribution main will also include air release valves, fire hydrants, water meters, and laterals as shown on the construction drawings. The Water Meters and Transceivers, Gate Valves, Air Release/Vacuum Valves, and Fire Hydrant Assemblies will be pre-selected. The contractor shall coordinate with the respective manufacturers for the purchase of materials at the executed equipment purchase contract price. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron and steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal casting, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The deminimis and minor components waiver apply to this contract Upon Issuing Office receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
