This portion of the project is approximately 2600 LF, or 0.49 miles in length and includes Milling and Resurfacing of the +/- 23' wide section (2-11.5' travel lanes) and placement of new asphalt pavement in a single 185 lbs/SY layer. NE Jacksonville Loop This portion of the project is approximately 4310 LF, or 0.82 miles in length. The roadway has two sections with different widths: 18' wide - This section will consist of milling and resurfacing of +/-1800 LF 16-17' wide - This section will consist of full depth reclamation (mixing) for +/-2510 LF of the existing 16-17' wide section, and widening to 18'. NE Mannon Ct This portion of the project is approximately 300 LF, or 0.06 miles in length and includes Milling and Resurfacing of the +/- 17' wide section (2 - 8.5' travel lanes) and placement of new asphalt pavement in a single 185 lbs/SY layer. NE Cider Ct This portion of the project is approximately 395 LF, or 0.07 miles in length and includes construction of a new asphalt roadway over an existing limerock road. The proposed roadway will be 20' wide (2 - 10' travel lanes) and asphalt pavement in a single 185 lbs/SY layer. Scope of work includes minor shoulder work, grading, asphaltic concrete pavement, erosion control, grassing, painted pavement markings, and incidental items. Deadline for questions regarding construction plans, specifications, and/or bid documents must be received before 2:00 P.M. on August 7, 2020. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the County Manager with a 5% bid bond with submittal, and if selected, furnish the County Manager with a performance bond and proof of liability insurance prior to commencing work. The Columbia County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to add to the contract or delete from the contract to stay within their funding capabilities.
