Site work for a water / sewer project in Montpelier, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of approximately 500 LF of PVC sewer main, approximately 400 LF of PVC storm drain, precast manholes and catch basins, water service abandonment, water main extension, pavement restoration, and all other work necessary to complete the project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at swelch@dufresnegroup.com by 5:00 PM local time on September 29, 2022. This project is funded in part through the Vermont Clean Water State Revolving Fund. Consequently, the following provisions apply to this WORK (more detail for each of these provisions can be found in Instruction to Bidders): 1. Bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders 2. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements 3. Performance BOND and Payment BOND each in the amount of 100% of the contract price 4. "AIS" (American Iron and Steel) Provisions of P.L. 113-76, Consolidated Appropriations Act 5. Federal Wages as determined under the Davis-Bacon Act 6. Prohibition of Certain Telecommunication and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment
