The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the 2020 Main Line Easement Rehabilitation Project. The work generally consists of the following: Pre cleaning and television inspection of 23,117 of main line. Installation of 19,996 linear feet of 6-inch cured-in-place pipe liner. Installation of 1,317 linear feet of 8-inch cured-in-place pipe liner. Installation of 1,804 linear feet of 10-inch cured-in-place pipe liner. Reinstatement of 621 lower lateral main line tap connections. Replacement of 135 SASD lower laterals and main line taps. Responses will be provided to questions submitted up until August 06, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the Sacramento Area Sewer District, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Pursuant to the California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the County to ensure performance under this contract.
