The project consists of roadway Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) with cement and emulsion for Emerson Drive from Minton Road to C-1 Canal in the City of Palm Bay. The roadway improvements include 2" milling the entire two travel lanes and then FDR remaining asphalt and then paving. Construction shall include all incidentals items for work to be performed as per the construction plans for the Emerson Drive Improvements, and pay quantities provided in each of the bid documents. While not intended to be an all-inclusive list, work generally includes the following items: Mobilization, erosion control, testing of all items per FDOT requirements and bid specification, pavement milling, full depth reclamation with 2% cement and 2% emulation additives pavement, hauling milling and material not used to the City Public Works site, While not intended to be an all-inclusive list, work generally includes the following items: Mobilization, erosion control, testing of all items per FDOT requirements and bid specification, pavement milling, full depth reclamation with 2% cement and 2% emulation additives pavement, hauling milling and material not used to the City Public Works site,shoulder restoration, crown slope correction, leveling asphalt layer, temporary and final thermoplastic striping, pavement markings, reflective pavement markings, sodding, utility coordination/adjustment, traffic coordination, maintenance of traffic plan preparation/submittal/approval and coordination with City staff, maintenance of traffic notification, and regular progress meeting attendance. All materials to be furnished on the project shall be FDOT approved materials or from an approved FDOT mine. The selected contractor shall provide all material and shop submittals for review and approval to the City as part of the construction. Question End Date 8/18/2020 5:00 PM This project is a turnkey project from start to finish; furnish and install all items for all work identified in the project plans and bid specifications and all cost associated with the construction shall be included with the line items provided. No additional compensation for the work identified will be provided. Accompanied by a certified or cashier's check (drawn in favor of the City of Palm Bay, Florida) or by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid. The City of Palm Bay reserves the right to waive technicalities, irregularities or formalities; to reject any or all Bids; to accept that Bid which is in the best interest of the City of Palm Bay; and nothing contained herein shall place a duty upon the OWNER to reject any BID or award a contract based upon anything other than the OWNER's sole discretion as described herein.
