The project consists of conducting a thorough assessment of the current condition of the City's ice rink facility and grounds. The assessment will concentrate on the maintenance aspect of the facility and will identify any existing deficiencies and the costs to repair them including specific recommendations for repairs both immediate and over a ten year period. The project also consists of developing a 10-year maintenance program that includes capital improvements for major building repairs. For purposes of this project a capital improvement is identified to be a single asset replacement or facility improvement at a cost of $50,000 and above. Local Business shall mean a business which maintains its principle place of business in a fixed office within the City of South Lake Tahoe and possesses a current South Lake Tahoe business license. To establish a principle place of business in South Lake Tahoe, a business must demonstrate the majority of its principals are based in the South Lake Tahoe office, and that it pays South Lake Tahoe payroll taxes on at least 51 percent of its total payroll.
