Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
City Hall is anticipated to be open by appointment only prior to the bid opening, bids must be submitted by mail if delivered prior to the bid opening date and time listed above. Any bids received later than the above time will be returned unopened. Work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the demolition of the structure(s) and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. Specifications and Bidding Documents obtained from any other source will deem the Bid Non-Responsive, and thus ineligible for award of a Contract. Bids must be on the Bid Form contained in the Specifications. Each bidder must also complete a Form 96 (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts); an executed non-collusion affidavit; signed copies of addenda (if issued); a completely executed Affidavit of Compliance with Indiana Immigration Law and Certification of Not Being Engaged in Investment Activities in Iran (copy attached); and satisfactory bid security as set forth in the Contract Documents All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Federal Contract Provisions apply. bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Public works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept a full or partial award of the bid, which, in its judgment, will be to the best interests of the City of La Porte. Work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the demolition of the structure(s) and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The demolition site is located at 404 McCollum, La Porte, Indiana.
