"**As of October 29, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded. The recommendation is on the agenda for the next Board of Commissioner meeting in November.** Emmet County is seeking proposals for construction services at the Headlands International Dark Sky Park for improvements to walkways and shoreline protection. Please refer to the corresponding documents for more information. Bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) is required for any projects over $50,000. Bid bonds can be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for projects from $50,000 - $100,000. Bid bonds for any projects over $100,000 need to be submitted as a bid bond only. Performance/Payment bonds are required for any projects over $50,00. This bond needs to be in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Deadline to Submit Written Questions August 18, 2020 @ 3:00 AM EST The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals, or parts of any proposal, for any reason whatsoever and waive technicalities.
