BF 09915 The existing bridge consists of a 6.4 m wide, 20.7 m long, 3 span (6.1 m - 8.5 m - 6.1 m), precast concrete (type HC) girder bridge on a standard timber treated substructure. The structure is installed square to the roadway. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization Traffic accommodation (local detour) Removal and disposal of existing bridge debris material Structural excavation behind abutment backwalls to facilitate removal of girders and caps Removal, salvage and replacement of backwall sheeting required for timber cap access Girder removal and re-installation (24) Pile repairs (2) P1P5 (South Pier 1, Pile 5) P2P5 (North Pier 2, Pile 5) Replace timber pile caps (2 piers and 2 abutments) Backfill to restore abutment backwalls - crushed aggregate Replace guardrail section Roadway work to restore to existing condition Temporary access berm (if required) Fish capture and release (if required) Turbidity monitoring (if required) Site clean-up and restoration BF 09975 The existing culvert consists of 2 1220 mm diameter corrugated steel pipes, with invert lengths of 24 m (Active) and 15.2 m (Relief), installed with a 10 LHF skew to the roadway.
