The City of Phoenix is seeking up to 18 qualified consultants to provide soils and materials testing on-call services on an as-needed basis from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022. These contracts will be administered by the Street Transportation Department. The scope of work may include miscellaneous geotechnical, materials testing, and laboratory services not limited to: sampling; laboratory and field testing of soil, concrete and asphalt; asphalt, concrete and aggregate plant inspections; and analyses and preparation of reports, etc. There will be no pre-submittal meeting for this project. Each firm must have and provide their own technicians and laboratory facilities with the required certification and accreditations. Teaming arrangements of any kind are not permitted. "Specialized" tests outside this scope may be subcontracted to another company with the permission of the City Materials Lab. There is no need to identify subconsultants at this time.
