Site work for a water / sewer project in Phoenix, Arizona. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services for the Northwest Water and Wastewater Master Plan Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Package 2 project. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and City staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. This project site is north of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) canal, south of Carefree Highway, west of I-17 to the City of Phoenix city limits. The estimated construction cost for Package 2 is $15 million. The City needs to construct new water and wastewater infrastructure for potential growth and anticipates the work may be done in phases depending on development agreements. Phase one includes four packages with each location awarded as a separate package. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the two selected design consultants and City staff to evaluate, design and construct the first phase water and wastewater infrastructures in this area. Construction will need to be complete by April 1, 2022. The first phase water and wastewater infrastructure includes a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) station, water transmission mains, booster pump station, lift stations, force mains, and large diameter gravity sewer mains.
