The Trenton Water Works (TWW) is a Division within the City of Trentons Department of Water and Sewer is soliciting sealed proposals through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. to provide Professional Engineering Services for Phase 1 and 2 of the Water Storage Tank Project. TWW provides service to approximately 60,000 metered customers and 217,000 people in the City of Trenton as well as portions of Ewing, Hamilton, Hopewell, and Lawrence Townships through approximately 630 miles of transmission and distribution mains. The distribution system is made up of two 1.4-Million gallon above ground storage tanks, four 1-Million gallon above ground storage tanks, one 600,000-gallon hydropillar, a 1.2-MG standpipe for system storage, and a 78- Million-gallon reservoir. Phases 1 and 2 of the Decentralized Water Storage Tank Project Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975,c127(N.J.A.C.17:27 et seq). Questions must be submitted in writing to igarcia@trentonnj.org. As of October 27, 2020, this project is currently under evaluation stage. A notice of intent to award a design firm has not been scheduled. A construction timeline has not been determined. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
