Asbestos abatement and renovation of a residential development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 106,500-square-foot, 22-story above grade residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
As of 09/28/2020 No start and end date. The Plumbing Modernization at Front Hi-Rise primarily involves the removal and replacement of plumbing supply, waste and vent lines in 151 dwelling units and removal and replacement of boilers including all necessary demolition and asbestos abatement. It also includes replacement of kitchen and bath fixtures and finishes and painting throughout the unit. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid guarantee, MN responsible contractor compliance affidavit, a non-collusive affidavit, and EEO/AAP submittals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds. The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Existing shaft walls to be selectively opened up for piping replacement Chases and replaced with construction maintaining the current level of fire protection. Existing solid gypsum block walls and gypsum panel walls assumed to be 1 hour fire resistive construction per MN CCEB Resource A Guidelines on Fire Rating of Archaic Materials and Assemblies Table 1.1.1. Item code W-2-M-1 solid gypsum panel, and W-3-M-18 3" gypsum block. MBE participation in this contract of 20% W/DBE participation in this contract of 10% 1. Replacement of hot and cold water risers and mains. 2. Replacement of domestic hot and cold water branch lines. 3. Replacement of existing sanitary risers and horizontal samitary lines. 4. Replacement of boilers.
