Protective Coating Systems Replacement for Contact Basin No. 2 and Splitter Basin No. 1 at the Courtney Bend WTP - Water Department Project The City of Independence, Missouri invites bids from firms meeting the qualifications set forth herein and in any referenced documents to perform the following scope of work at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant for the Water Department. The contract for this project shall provide for, but not limited to, all equipment, coating systems to the interior and exterior surfaces of Contact Basin No. 2, Splitter Basin No. 1, assoicated equipment, and structures. Questions must be submitted through Public Purchase electronically. The City reserves the right to provide such questions and answers to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum to the ITB. The deadline for questions is 5:00 p.m. local time, August 21, 2020. Any project over $2,500 that qualifies as a public improvement project, as determined by the City, will require a 100% payment/maintenance/performance bond. The City standard bond form must be used for each project.
