Site work for a water / sewer project in Independence, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Independence, Missouri (herein referred to the City) requests sealed bids from qualified firms to provide manhole lining using Quadex Geokrete Geopolymer products inside manholes forming a new structure within the existing deteriorated manholes providing a minimum 50 year service life. For this bid there are a total of ten manholes with a combined vertical footage of approximately 82 ft. The manholes will require the steps to be removed, cleaning and possible light patching and grouting. The ten manholes will need lined from the exposed invert to the chimney, just under the manhole frame & cover. Below is the information for each manhole including pictures. The geopolymer liner will be installed in according to the specifications within this document.
