The Work includes: Construction of North and South Marine Buildings and site work to support construction of North and South Marine Buildings at Terminal 5 in West Seattle. A. The project consists of construction of a Marine Building and site work at Terminal 5 in West Seattle. 1. New building shall be constructed of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) and wood framing. 2. New building and associated exterior stairs shall be constructed on structural concrete mat slabs. 3. New building shall be conditioned by a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) type conditioning system. New building shall be ventilated by a Direct Outside Air (DOAS) type ventilation system. 4. The building will be serviced by sewer, water, electrical and drainage. The work will include the following: a. Sewer: The sanitary sewer scope includes, but in not limited to, the following elements: b. Water: Connect the building water system to the nearby capped site water distribution system. c. Electrical: Provide electrical feeders, sanitary lift station control and power, and communication pathway from existing electrical, and communication distribution systems and terminate within the building. d. Drainage: Provide drainage conveyance system to route roof stormwater runoff to existing drainage conveyance system by means of piping and drainage structures. Location: The work area is located at Terminal 5, 2701 26 th Ave. S.W. Seattle, WA 98106 The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1.25 - $2.5 Million. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 225 calendar days.
