Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") is accepting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of a new Precast Reinforced Concrete Segment Arch Bridge System to be constructed on Steam Hollow Road (T-357), West Burlington Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania 16947 Bidders must review and comply with the Bid Documents and Specifications that are available at the Owner's office. A brief description of the project is as follows:1) Install BMPs and piling system. 2) support, install and backfill 27 linear feet of Precast Reinforced Concrete Segment Arch Bridge System, 3) complete the roadway, guiderail and site work. The proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a certified check or acceptable Bid Bond made payable to Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority, in an amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid. The Bid Deposit of the successful bidder shall be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages if the bidder shall neglect or refuse to enter into a contract with the Owner in accordance with the proposal and contract documents. The Owner has the right to accept and/or reject all bids submitted in accordance herewith within sixty (60) days of the bid opening. All interested bidders must attend a prebid meeting with the Owner and the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, a payment bond and a performance bond as provided in Pennsylvania law. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities as permitted by law.
