Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Everett, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Everett Northern Strand Community Trail Extension. The scope of work includes construction of 4,000 linear feet of shared use path from the existing path head at West Street at the northerly limit, south through and adjacent to MBTA and DCR property, adjacent to the SITE Centers property connecting to the recently constructed river walk. Also included, but not limited to, in the construction scope are lighting, security equipment, fencing, paving, drainage, striping, boardwalk construction across wetlands, retaining walls, best management practices (BMPs) for erosion control, railroad track removal, wetlands mitigation/replication and landscaping improvements. The City of Everett will construct the extension of the Northern Strand Community Trail. Stakeholders included Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Site Centers (Gateway Shopping Center), and the City of Everett.
