Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Kearny, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,250-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.

Bids for said Contract must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications. All Bids must be stated in words and figures and must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the envelopes to bear the following Each bidder shall deposit with its bid a certified check or cashier's check, or bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond (cash will not be accepted) drawn to Town of Kearny, in the amount of ten percent (10%) but not to exceed $20,000 of the total bid, as provided in the said specifications, as a guarantee of good faith in bidding and shall also submit a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with a bond in such sum as is required in the advertisement or in the specifications. The Town of Kearny, NJ reserves the right to waive non-material informalities in bids in accordance with applicable law and to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 It is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure that their bid is complete and presented to the Business Office before the bid date and time. Bids will not be accepted or received by the Town after the advertised bid date and time. (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(b)).
