Streetscape improvements include sidewalk reconstruction, paver installation, curb reconstruction, decorative light poles, signage, banner poles, pay meters, bus shelter installation, and bioswales and planters with bench installations. The limits of improvements are along Midland Avenue (Kearny Avenue to Davis Avenue), Forest Street (Midland Avenue to Garafola Place), and Elm Street (Midland Avenue to Garafola Place). These improvements are all within the Town of Kearny and funded by the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ).
