The project will repair PVC liner failures within a 6,000 foot section of the 54" - 78" RCP Sunflower and Red Hill Interceptors. Included in this section are three siphons that require similar repair. The Project will require daily traffic control set ups/tear downs, man-entry of active sewers, temporary diversions, and bypass pumping, all to be performed at night, during low flows. The Project will also pour concrete to form a flat bottom inside the pipe to artificially keep low flows above the area of exposed concrete where the 270-degree PVC lining stops. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OCSD until 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), March 29, 2021.
