UST Certification, Maintenance, and Designated Operator Services The purpose of this contract is to ensure OC San USTs are kept in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Designated Operator duties, UST system repairs, Monitor Certification, Secondary Containment testing (SB989), Overfill prevention testing, and Line Leak Detector testing will be completed with the assistance of OC San staff The contractor bidding must hold valid licensing and certification for testing, repair, and Designated Operator duties for Underground Storage Tanks in California, is required by the State Water Resources Control Board (California Code of Regulations title 23 Chapter 16, South Coast Air Quality Management District, and California Air Resource Board.). Licenses and Certifications included but not limited to are California Tank tester License, Designated UST Operator, UST Installer, and UST Service Technician. The contractor bidding must hold valid licensing or certification to repair, install, or maintain monitoring equipment found within the plant (Veeder-Root TLS-350, INCON TS-1001), and the ability to gain licensing or certification for future monitoring equipment in the event of monitor replacement, upgrade, or new installation. The contractor bidding must hold valid Contactor's Licenses required by the California Contractor State License Board and California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.7 for working on Underground Storage Tanks and typical system components. Licenses included but not limited to General Engineering Contractor (Class A) or C-61(D40) Limited Specialty (Service Station Equipment and Maintenance Contractor).
