During the performance of this contract, the Contractor shall conform with Affirmative Action regulations set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, as amended and supplemented from time to time. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for 10% of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000, made payable to the Township of Aberdeen. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and address and the designation of the materials/service bid noted on the outside of the envelope. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, to increase or decrease quantities to be purchased or to waive any informality in the bids and accompanying documents received. Please be advised: As of the publication date of this notice, Township buildings are temporarily closed to the public. If Township buildings are still closed to the public on Friday, August 28, 2020, Aberdeen Township will adhere to the following procedures for the opening of proposals (in accordance with the Division of Local Government Services' Local Finance Notice 2020-10): All bidders are encouraged to submit via certified mail or overnight delivery to ensure a confirmed delivery. Hand delivered submissions will be accepted at the main doors of Aberdeen's Town Hall building located at 1 Aberdeen Square, Aberdeen, NJ by appointment only. To arrange the hand delivery you must call 732-583-4200 ext. 181 between regular business hours (8:30am 4:30pm Monday thru Friday). Upon conclusion of the bid opening, you may request preliminary bid results by contacting the Purchasing Department at 732-583-4200 ext. 181 or Jackie.struble@aberdeennj.org.
