The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security, all as described in Section B - Information for Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in favor of the Bradford City Water Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. This Contract is subject to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors providing services on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the United States Secretary of Labor in accordance with Title 40, Chapter 31, Subchapter IV of the United States Code. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with the Bradford City Water Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
