The project consists of culvert repairs, concrete construction, riprap placement, E&S controls, roadway reconstruction, and all other associated work listed herein, and as indicated on the plans. ach bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of East Bradford Twp; or a Bid Bond in favor of East Bradford Twp, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. All Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor and be prequalified in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes that constitute at least 50% of the project. The project will be constructed in conformance with PennDOT Publication 408 (latest edition) and the project Technical Provisions. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. East Bradford Twp reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
