Site work for a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project seeks to place 790,000 cubic yards of sand on the landside of the Hunt- Lima levee within the existing levee ROW. The sand shall be dredged from the Mississippi River from project specified dredge sites and placed within project specified dredge basins (also constructed as a part of the project). The quantity to be dredged shall be sufficient such that the placed quantity meets the project design grades. The project also includes the relocation of sand from the top of the levee that was used for flood fighting during the 2019 flood event.
