Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kansas City, Missouri. Design plans call for the construction of a 233-unit multi-residential development; 8,500-square-foot retail development; 319-space parking garage; and for paving for a parking garage.
Proposed work includes two six-story apartment buildings on 1.5 acres south of Fifth and Main streets consisting of 233 apartments with 319 parking spaces. The plans also call for 8,500 square feet of retail. The east building's garage will be designed so 2,300 square feet on its ground floor can become retail and 17,046 square feet on its second floor can become office or event space, in anticipation of future public parking reductions. An architect has been selected. As of July 25, 2022 this project is in early planning. A general contractor has not been selected. Although a firm schedule has not been established, construction is not expected to begin before first quarter 2023.
