Boston Public Library Johnson Building Staff Locker Room and Restrooms General Bid Deadline 9/14/20 Time 12:00 P.M. The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes interior renovations to the existing women's restroom and changing area on the lower level of the Boston Public Library Johnson building. Renovations include demolition of all finishes, plumbing, selected partitions, and electrical. Abatement of floor tile included. Modifications to existing fire and mechanical system, new plumbing fixtures, lockers, and millwork. This Section sets out requirements for all operations at the Project Site by Contractor and its forces for safety, security and protection of property for operations to be carried out in a fully occupied public building with limited access to the work areas from the public ways adjoining the building. B. The Contractor shall take all precautions to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all workers and all others rightfully on the Project site who may be affected by work done under this Contract. C. All safety laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts applicable to work performed under this Contract shall be adhered to by the Contractor.
