The Inglewood Unified School District ("District") was established in the early 1950s as the successor of the Inglewood School District, which came into existence in 1888. It encompasses nine square miles in Los Angeles County, about 13 miles southwest of the City of Los Angeles. The District serves approximately 8,400 students in 19 schools in the City of Inglewood and an adjacent section of unincorporated Los Angeles County (Ladera Heights). The District’s schools include one child development center, one transitional kindergarten (TK) through grade five (TK-5) school, six TK-6 schools, one TK-7 school, one P-8 school, two TK-8 schools, one grades 7-8 middle school, three high schools, one District-operated K-8 charter school, one preparatory high school, and one adult school. The District is requesting submission of statement of qualifications and proposals from qualified firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations (“Firm(s)”) to perform construction management services ("Response(s)") for the construction, maintenance, repair, or related projects as needed. Those services will support: The District’s Measure GG Bond Program. Measure I was approved by the voters on November 3, 2020 with over 80% approval from our voters. Measure I will fund up to $240,000,000 in facilities improvements for IUSD schools.
