This Project includes, but is not limited to the removal and disposal of existing asphalt and paving and stripping parking lot as well as removing and re-installing wheel stops. This parking lot has 311 parking spaces and includes 8 handicapped spaces. The parking lot and driveway areas are approximately 103,000 sq ft. Bid bonds, payment bonds and performance bonds will not be required for this Project. If awarded, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder, taking into account quality, performance and time specified in the Contract Documents. The lowest, responsive, responsible bid will be determined based upon the lowest cost to the Town. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bid Proposal and to reject any or all Bid Proposals. All Questions Regarding the Contract Drawings, and the Construction Specifications Indicated on Said Drawings Should Be Directed to the Project Manager. The undersigned further agrees to begin the work promptly upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and to pursue the work with an adequate work force to complete the work within 60 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages of $500.00 per calendar day are hereby agreed upon as an assessment from the Contractor for failure to complete the work within the time period stated herein.
