This Request for Quotations is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for the Cowichan Valley Trail Agira Culvert Washout Repair, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). In November, 2021, the culvert running beneath the Cowichan Valley Trail close to Agira Road in Duncan, BC suffered a catastrophic failure, resulting in the washout of the trail approximately 30 metres wide and 6 metres deep along the entire 40 metre length of the culvert. In addition to trail damage, the washout exposed the Telus fibre optic cable conduits and a City of Duncan HDPE watermain which require repair as part of the culvert reinstatement work The CVRD is requesting quotations for all works required to dispose of existing culvert, supply and install new culvert, and complete all trail repairs.
