Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Trenton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

**As of November 16, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded. Construction start date and completion date are not yet determined. Raw Water Intake Improvements Questions:august 26, 2020to Igarcia@trentonnj.org Addenda:august 28, 2020 Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of P.l. 1975,c127(N.j.a.c.17:27 Et Seq). Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following. 1. Install primary measurement instruments in accordance with the Plans and specifications. 2. Submersible level transmitters shall be installed to measure water level in the intake channels and to measure river level. a. Install stilling wells in the intake channels. Stilling well shall be attached to the intake structure walls. Refer to installation details on Process Plans. b. Install a stilling well on the exterior ofthe intake channel structure to measure river level. Refer to installation details on Process Plans. c. Provide and install a junction box to house the submersible level transmitter sensor termination enclosures. Refer to details on Electrical Plans. d. Hardware shall be installed to support the level transmitters above the stilling wells. e. Transmitter elevations shall be coordinated to allow comparison of channel level and river level. Submersible level transmitters shall be suspended in the stilling wells at elevations specified on the installation details
